In this episode a drunken Gus belittles his son Patrick during a family barbecue, causing Liz to defend her baby brother. Meanwhile, Dontrell forces his way into Miss Allen’s home and threatens to know Tamika’s whereabouts. Later, Ms. Allen encourages her daughter-in-law, Tamika, to return to college and get her degree. Colleen reflects on the past, then fights with Gus while Patrick tells Liz about a recurring dream and shares a secret.
