Choice is yours, don’t be late…”

June & August 1994.
A series of flops along with an unexpected bill for unpaid back taxes has depleted all of Samina’s savings. Quite simply, her and her mother are broke. And with the press labeling Samina a “has been” because her movies fail to do well, and increasingly unstable Rajani begs Samina to keep accepting new roles because they desperately need the money.
In Gloucester, Joe invites Michael to church to meet his family. A hesitant Michael agrees, and has a vivid dream the night before Palm Sunday. After Mass, Michael learns about Joe’s past and the story about how he met his wife. Meanwhile, Samina works on a crime drama with a new, young leading man, and later confides to her mother that she believes it will be a big hit.
Michael travels to Litchfield and meets with the Montfort Missionaries, the same community Joe studied with years earlier. He talks with Father Gaffney, the superior of the community, and expresses his doubts about whether or not he’s in the right place. That night, Michael drams of a blind woman and shares the details with Father Gaffney which convinces him to join.
Samina’s film fails to earn back its budget, despite her performance, resulting in another flop. Confiding to Ronit, she worries if her career has reached its end… and if so, what the future might have in store for her.
